VLTRA_U Uros Veselinovic a.k.a. VLTRA_U (pronounced Ultra U) is no stranger to dance music: since his early teens he had enjoyed the vibrant clubbing scene of his native Belgrade, capital of Serbia. Being surrounded with DJs and producers inspired him to share his own vision of electronic music, first as a part of a duo called Vintage Future, later on on his own. Living in Beijing VLTRA_U co-organized numerous parties, several of which received great attention: Liquid Cocaine, Macrowave, ArchiTech, Beats On The Menu, La Sala, Hutongs Sessions, Sundown, to name a few. In March 2017 he participated in RecRoom's Open Decks competition, ending up taking first place in the month's edition. This rose awareness of his music, and soon enough VLTRA_U was asked to play on Toxic Entertainment Back2Basics events with international acts such as Stiv Hey (Sci+Tec, Italy) and Locked Groove (Hotflush/Afterlife, Belgium). Invited to be a guest artist on their monthly Toxic Podcast in September, VLTRA_U ended up in Pyro Music's Techno Chart in the very top, which lead him to become Toxic's new Resident DJ/Artist&Repertoire Director, as well as a regular fixture in Beijing nightlife. Since then he shared stage with many world wide known artists like Tijana T (Dystopian, Serbia), D-Unity (Suara/Unity Records, Canada), The YellowHeads (Reload Black Label, Spain), Truncate (50 Weapons, USA), Myle (Die Empathie, Switzerland), Eduardo de la Calle (Planet E, Spain), Yan Cook (Planet Rhythm, Ukraine), Skober (Drumcode, Ukraine), and so on. His sound goes from retro Synthwave to Chicago House, Microhouse and Progressive Techno, but his preferred style is Deep and Tech House, all of which he blends into a never-ending and uplifting dance set, full of anticipation, excitement, and positive vibes. VLTRA_U performed in numerous venues around China's Capital: Lantern, Dada, InfraRouge, Aurora, Zarah, RecRoom, OMNI Space, Modernista, SOI bar, Cafe de la Poste, AOTU Studio, Shanghai?? Celia and The Mansion, VinylStore Shenzhen, Social Room Hong Kong, Beer&Records Yiwu, and shared decks with many Beijing DJ heroes ??local and international.
